Your voicemail password/PIN is used when accessing voicemail by phone. You can update your voicemail password from your Profile Settings in the Sync desktop or browser app.
Requirements and notes
- Your voicemail password must contain 4 to 10 numeric digits.
- Your voicemail password/PIN is used for phone-based voicemail access.
- If you are setting up voicemail from a desk phone for the first time, you may be prompted to use the default security code before creating your own password/PIN.
- Voicemail menu options may vary depending on your organization’s voicemail settings and enabled features.
Access your voicemail inbox settings
From the Sync desktop or browser app, follow the steps below:
- Open your Profile Settings:
- Click your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Click your name under Profile Settings.
- Click the Voicemail subtab on the left side.
Update your voicemail password
Follow these steps to change your voicemail password in Sync.
- In Profile Settings, open the Voicemail tab.
- At the bottom of the page, click Update Password.
- Enter your new voicemail password.
- Confirm your new voicemail password if prompted.
- Click Reset to save your new password.
When your voicemail password is used
You may be asked to enter your voicemail password/PIN when you:
- Listen to voicemail from a desk phone.
- Dial *95 to access voicemail.
- Navigate voicemail settings by phone.
