Call parking allows you to place an active call into a temporary parking slot so it can be retrieved from another phone on the account.

Call Park is not enabled by default. The net2phone Canada team must configure Call Park slots for your organization before the feature can be used.

Notes and requirements

  • Call Park must be configured for your account by net2phone Canada before it can be used.
  • When Call Park slots are assigned to buttons on your phone, use those buttons to park and retrieve calls.
  • Feature codes are intended only for devices that do not display configured Call Park slot buttons, such as some cordless phones.
  • Feature-code parking works only while you are connected to an active call.
  • If a parked call is not retrieved, it will return to the original device after approximately 15 minutes.

Use Call Park buttons

If Call Park slots are assigned to buttons on your phone, press the button beside an available slot to park the active call.

To retrieve the call, press the same Call Park slot button.

Park a call with feature codes

If your device does not display Call Park slot buttons, use the Call Park feature code configured for your account.

  1. While connected to an active call, dial the configured Call Park feature code.
  2. Wait for the system to announce the Call Park slot number.
  3. Note the full slot number before ending the call.

Retrieve a parked call with feature codes

To retrieve a parked call without a Call Park slot button, use the configured retrieval feature code and the Call Park slot number announced by the system.

  1. Dial the configured Call Park retrieval feature code followed by the full Call Park slot number.
  2. Press Call.
