Invite a New Sync User

Admins can learn how to add new users via email invite to your organization's Sync platform.

Add new users to your organization to give team members access to the Sync platform, including calling, messaging, and administrative tools.

Requirements and notes

Review the following notes before adding a new Sync user.

  • Each user must have a unique email address.
  • Role assignment determines what the user can access in Sync.
  • The welcome email allows first-time users to set up their password.
  • Users appear in the User Management list after they are created.
 

Open the Sync Settings Portal 

You can access User Management and add new Sync users through the Settings portal.

  1. Log in to the net2phone desktop or browser app with Admin credentials.
  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select either Company Settings or Admin Settings from the left navigation menu.
    You will be redirected to the Sync Settings portal.

  1. Select the User Management page from the right navigation menu.

Add a new user from User Management

Use the User Management page to create and configure new users.

  1. Go to User Management in the Sync Settings Portal.
  2. Select Add User.
  3. Enter the user’s First Name, Last Name, and Email.
  4. Select the user’s Language.
  5. Select the user’s Role.
  6. Choose whether to send the welcome email with a password setup link.
  7. Select Add User.

Accepting the Welcome Email 

After the user is added, Sync confirms the action and updates the User Management list.

  • A confirmation message appears: User was successfully added.
  • The user appears in the User Management list.
  • If the welcome email option was selected, the user receives a password setup email.

Add and edit Sync Team Members
