Your net2phone Sync licenses determine which features and applications are available to your account, including calling tools, Huddle video meetings, Virtual Fax, RCon, and Call Queues.
All users can view the licenses assigned to their own account from Profile Settings. Administrators can view company license availability from the Sync Settings portal and assign or remove licenses for Team Members.
Notes and Requirements
Only licenses granted to your user account or organization appear in the Sync Platform and Sync Settings portal.
- All users can view their assigned licenses at any time from Profile Settings.
- Administrators can view available company licenses from the Sync Settings portal and assign or remove licenses as needed.
Only Administrators can assign, remove, or modify licenses.
How to view your assigned licenses
Users can check which licenses are assigned to their account from the Sync Platform.
- Click your profile picture or initials in the top-right corner.
- Select Profile.
- Open the Licenses subtab from the left navigation menu.
Your assigned licenses appear on the Licenses page.
If a feature is missing or unavailable, contact your company Administrator to confirm whether the required license is assigned to your account.

Understand license types
The licenses available to your organization depend on your net2phone services, plan, and enabled features.
Click the name or down arrow for each license to reveal more details.
Huddle Video Conference
Enables access to Huddle video conferencing features, including:
- Starting or joining Huddle meetings
- Screen sharing
- In-meeting controls
If this license is not assigned, Huddle options may not appear for the user.
RCon
Provides access to the browser-based Receptionist Console used by receptionists, front-desk staff, or Team Members who manage a high volume of incoming calls.
- Multi-call handling
- Drag-and-drop call transfers
- Real-time presence visibility
Virtual Fax
Allows users to send and receive faxes through the net2phone Virtual Fax service using assigned fax numbers.
If this license is not assigned, Virtual Fax options may not appear for the user.
Call Queue – Agent
Allows users to participate in assigned call queues. This license is commonly used for support, sales, or service teams that receive queue-routed calls.
- Sign in and out of assigned queues
- Receive queue-routed calls
- View queue status, depending on configuration
Call Queue – Supervisor
Provides access to supervisor-level call queue tools. This license may include Agent capabilities, plus additional supervisory features such as:
- Monitoring agent status
- Viewing live queue performance metrics
- Listening, whispering, or barging into calls, if enabled for the organization
Professional License
Provides access to features included with the net2phone Professional plan.
Available features may include:
- Business calling features
- Call forwarding options
- Voicemail
- Device management
- Contact directory access
- Softphone usage
Ultimate License
Provides access to features included with the net2phone Ultimate plan.
Ultimate plan features may include advanced business calling, supervisor, analytics, automation, or contact center-related capabilities, depending on your organization’s configuration.
PBX Account
The PBX Account license is automatically applied and is not limited by quantity.
This base license supports core account functionality for Team Members in your organization.
net2phone AI
Enables AI-supported capabilities where available for your organization.
Depending on your plan, region, and rollout status, AI-supported features may include:
- AI meeting summaries
- AI-generated call insights
- AI productivity tools integrated into the app

Manage company licenses
Administrators can use the Licenses page in the Sync Settings portal to review company license availability and manage license assignments for Team Members.
The Licenses page displays each license type, the total number of licenses available, the number currently in use, and the number remaining.
- Log in to the Sync Settings portal as an Administrator.
- Open Admin Settings.
- Select Licenses from the left navigation menu.
From this page, Administrators can assign or remove licenses for Team Members. If a user reports missing functionality, verify that the appropriate license is assigned to their account.
License changes take effect immediately after assignment.

Need to update or add licenses?
Regular users cannot modify or request licenses from the interface. If additional functionality is required, contact your company Administrator.
